Sony Has Now Launched Its Latest Flagship Smartphone - Sony Xperia 5II

Sony has just officially announced its latest flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 5II . This smartphone basically comes in just one storage option but Sony provides four colour variants in it. As the Sony Xperia 5II has officially launched in UK and US, however there is no update regarding the smartphone release in India.

If we talk about its features, there are lot of things which are not common in this smartphone. Sony Xperia 5II has the ability to record videos at 4K HDR 120Hz Slow Motion Recording and it packs a huge refresh rate display under the hood. This smartphone is mainly concentrated in gaming which makes it more interesting.

This gaming smartphone runs on Android 10. Sony Xperia 5II has a little bit smaller but no so small 6.1 inch Full HD+ OLED Display with the great 240 Hz Touch Scanning Rate.

The display offers a resolution of 1080 X 2520 pixels with 120Hz refresh rate along with 21:9 aspect ratio. One feature which makes it super fast is its Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 SoC under the board with 8GB of RAM. Sony Xperia 5II provides 128GB single storage option but it can be expanded up to 1TB with the use of Micro-SD card. 

Let's talk about the Sony's amazing camera sensors. Sony has provided triple rear camera setup includes 12MP  primary sensor with f/1.7, a 12MP secondy sensor and also a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor. This trio leads the camera sensors to the next level. You will find an 8MP selfie camera which is placed at the top of the display. 

The Sony Xperia 5II is powered by 4,000 mAh battery pack with supporting 18W fast charging which can charge 50% battery in just 30 minutes. If we talk about its size or dimensions, Xperia 5II 158mm X 68mm X 8mm in size and the it weighs around 163 grams.

 
It supports 5G connectivity which is totally fast, dual Band WiFi, GPS/A-GPS, a Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and a USB type-C port for fast charging and connectivity.

Furthermore, this smartphone has a unique 240Hz Motion Blur Reduction feature especially for gaming. Sony Xperia 5II has IP65/68 water resistance which means, this smartphone can survive in water at least 1.5 meter depth for 30 minutes. Sony has provided one of the best Dolby Atmos Speakers for its latest flagship smartphone. At the end, Sony Xperia 5II has the latest and the strongest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 up on the display.

Price And Availability

The Price of Sony Xperia 5II is set at EURO 899 which is around Rs.78,000 in Europe with 8GB RAM and 128GB single Storage Specifications. However, in U.S. Xperia 5II will be available at $949 (Around Rs.70,000). In Europe, people will get three colour options - Black, Blue and Grey while in U.S. it will be available in four colour options as Black, Blue, Grey and Pink. It will be available for pre-order from September 29 and will go for sale on December 4.
